In 1971, after nine months of liberation war, Bangladesh gained its independence from Pakistan. Three million people died during this period– one of the worst genocides in the history of mankind. Over 400,000 women were brutally raped and tortured by the Pakistani army. About 10 million people took refuge in India, and 30 million more displaced within the country to survive the onslaught.

Yet not much is known globally about this war. The sacrifices of the Bangladeshi freedom fighters Mukti Bahini and the mass people remain largely unnoticed amongst the rest of the people of the world. It is our humble goal to tell the untold story of this unknown war. We hope to ignite a spark of curiosity by making a world-class 2D animated war film, inspired by true events of 1971 in Bangladesh. Consequently the world finally starts to look into the atrocities that took place merely 48 years ago.

We also hope to motivate the future generations of Bangladesh through this film. We want to evoke nationalistic pride and patriotic sentiment amongst the mass population of Bangladesh through this journey.
